2008 TRYOUTS FOR COOPERSTOWN DREAMS PARK

Please find the BOYS OF BASEBALL - NATIONAL TRAVEL TEAM policy and procedure regarding a player/family interest in qualification for one of the five (5) weeks each year that we participate at Cooperstown Dreams Park (www.cooperstowndreamspark.com). In 2008, the BOB-NTT will participate in the following CDP tournaments:

12 		All ages are league age 2008...i.e.,
how old is the player on April 30, 2008?
Player cannot exceed 10 or 12 before that date, respectively.
As these are top age-group national tournaments, quality skills
(along with exemplary character and coachability) are essential.

For a player (and family) who resides in the following states: AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN to be considered for the 2008 BOB-NTT Cooperstown Dreams Park teams (all others join us via participation in our instructional program, as in years past), he must...ABSOLUTELY MUST...participate in the following TRYOUTS (and, these are in addition to his also extensive participation with the regularly-scheduled BOB-NTT instructional activities):

  • Saturday, December 8, 2007
  • Saturday, February 2, 2008 (Oaks, PA)
  • Sunday, February 3, 2008
  • Saturday, March 22, 2008 (Pembroke Pines, FL)

Auburn Tryouts: 8:30-10:30 am (each Saturday) and 1:00-3:00 pm (Sunday, February 3)

Format...timed runs, fielding, throwing, baserunning, pitching, catching, bunting, hitting, and position play
After a player's participation in the first session, subsequent tryouts will be by invitation.
Cost per session...$45, payable to BOYS OF BASEBALL

THESE TRYOUTS ARE ESSENTIAL TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE BOB-NTT 2008 CDP TEAMS...no exceptions.

Confirm participation via e-mail...feel encouraged to bring others (ages 9-12).
